I'm Brittany. I'm a college student at Mizzou and I'm in a Christian Sorority, walking in His will. This is inspiration for your everyday life :) From the bible, of course. Timothy 3:16 tells us, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." Sound Good? So follow :)

Since the Denver Broncos NFL playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, January 8, John 3:16 has been among the top keyword searches on the Google and Yahoo search engines. Certainly, a great deal of the interest in this biblical verse is that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow counts it as his favorite. Tebow is not shy in regards to his faith in Jesus Christ and his gratefulness in the finished work done on the cross; paying for his sins, my sins, and yours. John 3:16 is the truth; period. In this world of deception, deceit, slight of hand, obsession with celebrity and worship of money and power, it is refreshing to see the truth trending on the mighty cyber monolith known as Google and likewise on Yahoo, which could be considered the runner-up to the throne of internet dominance, depending on what statistics one reads. Don’t pass this up, you’re going to want to hear this!

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed (Mark 1:35). “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Luke 5:16).
Extremely important to hearing from God is personal quiet time. If your schedule is to busy that you can’t set aside time to do this, there needs to be readujustments.
There is nothing more important than this time with God. The best time to do this in the morning or at before bed for me.
Sometimes in the middle of the day I sneak out for this quiet time. It is something I look forward to and when I go without it, life goes nuts! Seriously.
I also love having my journal (penzu.com) handy. Journaling my thoughts and prayers helps me stay focused.
This time is not about “emptying the mind” It’s about filling the mind with the things of God and letting him speak to you and fill you up!
If you are looking for a more intimate connection with God, you need to have quiet time. Read the bible, journal, and pray!
